It seems to me there are a lot of Hypnotist out there. When you consider that fact that so many are selling the same worn out stuff don’t you feel like you want to learn something else but when you look for it all you can find is most people saying how their program is different and the best but then you get it and see it as the same almost exact words from one to the other and saying nothing new. What is it that you’re looking for in a conversational Hypnosis program and wouldn’t you think everyone else would like that as well but if you were to find that key to conversational or covert or stealth or whatever other name you may come up with but don’t you feel they’re all the same? I made a decission to not buy anymore programs period and to just put together my own learning system but no I;m not selling anything just someone that is forever a student and wanting to go deeper because can’t you feel that what people are doing is so cheap and this has so much potential but they are selling it like snake oil salesmen and yes most people don’t have the capability or the want to to learn it right and learn it to do good and to really reach out beyond their grasp but the power of the mind is so much more and if you can do just this little bit that seems so amazing why not reach for the stars way out beyond our imaginations and then you may feel you’re never to arrive but forever a student learning more knowledge and there right there in the recesses of your mind there is that place where you are seeing what’s posible and if you were to do that now obviosuly you would begin to feel as though your’e touching onto something far out and mystical to most but to you their is a place in your mind where you’re a totally suggestible person seeing you can and will reach out futher to be the best at your craft and all games and illusions aside you can feel true power coming at you growing stronger each day as you relax to find that place inside you like me can do it now so you dont even need to think about where you’re going because your mind knows and as you stop trying you can feel your life becoming more of who you want you to be and if you can feel that power growing inside you could you feel that power now so of course you can call me your friend as we grow together seperately living our lives and learning what is posible and not allowing anything but truth to enlighten you and change you into the humanitarian you’ve always wanted to be.

Fascinating post, I really love to use and receive the indirect (Ericksonian) approach. I run a hypnotherapy training course and find students embrase this indirect aproach far moreeasily than some of the other more direct or authortaian approaches.

The tools you use to seduce the people through hypnotic induction, into trance include status, wide rapport, rapport hooks; fractionate rapport and some instant rapport techniques. All these helps you to create the type of hypnotic atmosphere you need to achieve.

Next is trance voice induction which includes conscious and unconscious voices and multiple hypnotic voices.

These can be strengthened by using assumptions and implications.

Though it appears to be very complicated and in depth, you will be perfecting one step at a time until it comes naturally then move on to the next step of hypnotic induction.

Wonderful. I like the way the sentences allow for imbedded commands (eg. I don’t know which 'one of your arms will float' a little more than the other, but you can tell which 'one feels different'…). And it could very easily lead on to the Elman or any other. Thanks

John, we already had this discussion. I'm feeling Deja Vu.

Check it: A specific set of instructions (following a set of steps), is also known as a procedure. Another word for a procedure which, during and after it's run-time, induces altered states and causes outside of normal occurrences to happen is a ritual.

Therefore, Inductions Are Rituals. I've hypnotized thousands of people and every single one of them went through the ritual that we call hypnosis. Hypnosis is a ritual in the same way that vacations are rituals.

Do you know that some people go to Washington DC, where I live, for vacations? What's interesting is that even though I walk down the same streets and I drive past the Pentagon every day, I'm not on vacation. How can two people be in the same place, doing the same thing, and one of them is on vacation and the other is not? If you're "on vacation" then you have opened up a set of filters that were not available before.
